Joel Sánchez

Joel Sánchez is a Spanish actor and former model, born in 1996, in Lanzarote. He rose to fame as Bruce in Berlin, Netflix’ global hit that served as a prequel to Money Heist. The series premiered in December 2023 and was renewed for a second season, currently in production and set to release in 2026. Beyond Berlin, Sánchez has shown range in other notable roles. He starred as Roberto Betancourt in the historical drama La Favorita 1922, and played Daniel, a character inspired by the Patraix murder case, in the Netflix thriller La viuda negra (May 2025), which quickly became one of the most-watched titles in Spain upon his debut, further cementing is growing popularity.
